Jetting setup

Post by Korn »

Greetings fellow stormers! I've been playing with the various sized jets from the Storm Dynojet kit and am wondering what sizes other people are using.

Currently have DJ190 mains in there (possibly a tad on the large side), Dynojet needles in 4th clip from the top, drilled slides - one extra lift hole, mixture screws 2 1/2 turns out. The bike has the ignition advanced 4 degrees, straight through race cans, K&N filter and I've sacrificed a few dremel discs to grind down the blockage in the RHS header pipe.

It's never been on a dyno so all my tweaking has been done using the trusty seat-of-the-pants 'o meter. It ran 11.24 at this year's Bulldog Bash with 180 mains, K&N and de-baffled standard cans and then I got the race pipes and upped the jet size and ground the header. It feels faster but it also feels a bit rich (and it's drinking fuel faster than a small aircraft ) so I thought I would do a bit more tweaking before getting it graphed. Anybody have a similar setup to mine? What are your settings?
