Just really asking to double check in case I break something!
Got one of these new fangled 50% brighter Philips bulbs today and was going to fit it tonight last thing.
Checked with the manual and the procedure seems to be:
1: Pull connecter block straight off the current bulb
2: Pull the big rubber doo-dah away (presumably with those sticky our ear bits)
3: Unclip retaining wire (springy clip thing)
4: Remove bulb (not touching it of course)
Then just reverse process to put the new sucker back in.
I'm just checking cos I kinda stumbled at the 1st hurdle here.
Pull connector block away from back of current bulb.
Well, it does not appear to want to come off!
I gave it quite a lot of pulling (and if you look into the headlight) you can see the bulb moving back as I'm pulling.
It seems to be on there dam tight.
Didn't want to pull like an idiot, incase I damaged anything.
was wondering, perhaps do you find it easier to remove the rubber doo-dah away, then unclip THEN pull the connector off the bulb back.
Just checking, in case it's a know issue and there's a better way.
Thanks
