I am by no means a mechanic but I took the carbs off the superhawk and there was coolant in one of the lines....this can't be right!
Just to let you know, I am not the owner of this bike (gixxer owner). Friend of mine had this bike for about 6 years and sittin for 3 years, I told him I could probably get it running.
I am assuming the bike was tipped over or sumthing. Could it be a seal etc?
Any opinions will be appreciated. Love to get this thing running, never rode a twin and I am considering buying it. thanx

You can get some stuff that you pour into the tank and then swill around to bind all the rust together and coat it to stop it flaking
I reckon you'd need to remove the fuel tap and blank off the hole when you do it though coz if you don't you'll shag the fuel tap!!
Also be worth getting an in-line fuel filter for when you re-assemble it to stop any later debris from finding its way into the carbs/ engine

It goes into quite a bit of detail regarding the options (a,b,c, or d) and gives the names of the products I was thinking of
