Revs in relation to speed?

Post by Sampy »

My 'Storm feels as though it's going slower than the speedo is reading, can anyone tell me what speed their bike is doing at say 5000rpm in top please?

Mine's doing about 98mph according to the speedo.

On std gearing at 5000 a storm is doing approx 89 mph.
Storm speedos are dreadfully optomistic and over read generally between 8-10 percent.

Is that a speedo reading or a true speed?
