second Kaz's comments, best thing I ever did - wud'nt be wihtout here now. Have had mine since new in 2001, my 1st vtwin and neve regretted a day. Love the vtwin and never a day of bother.

check the usual, and if she's been cared for then I doubt you'l have bother or regrets

What are you used to riding?

It really depends on what you want from a bike, but the storm will take anything you throw at it really. it's a commuter as well as a toy

Obviously check for the usual things... service history, has it been down the road etc
the suspension can be a little on the soft side, I fell in lucky with mine.. the previous owner had splashed out on a Penske racing shock.
Another problem that many storm owners/prospective owners panic about are CCT's. By all means see if the current owner knows if they have been changed.. but if not, don't worry about them. I'm on my 2nd storm now, and have had no problems in the past with either of them.

Good luck in choosing a storm, and welcome on board
wot are cct's
