Valve clearances - (FAO Del?)

With money being tight at the moment, my 24k service is now due. Doh! isn't it always the way?
Sooo, I can do the most part myself but was wondering if anyone who's had their valve clearances done could let me know how 'out' they were so I can decide whether to risk getting it done next time instead

Ben,

you only need do them every 16k, so that's 16k and then 32k, not 24k. That's aslong as they were definately done at 16k.
