........... the seat retaining mechaism seems a bit michael mouse. With the seat hump on, the shut lines aren't level to the lower 'bodywork'. I have looked at the middle hooks that pick up on the wire loops attached to the frame. These were hardly doing anything. With the loops pushed back a bit (by hand; a bit soft aren't they?) the seat holds better but needs a good thump rearwards with the flat of my hand to enable it to be removed. It is almost as if the humps tail piece is too low. Mind you, the forward rubber pads on the seat hump are well clear of the bodywork by about 6mm.
Any ideas what works?

seat hump clearance
hi mate,
I thought the clearance was a bit pants too, i,ve but a washer under the two fixings points for the tail section at the top just infront of the electronic control units, this raises the tail section a bit and closes the gap between the hump and the tail section.
