I agree with that :!:

But it all probably depends on individual body dimensions, IE distance from elbow to top of head :!:

dood im, 6ft 4..and the DB..imho is mutch better at redirecting airflow..'before the storm i rode a Zed 750s..and the ermax replacement screen [taller than standard] was like sticking my head sideways in a windtunnel..bobbing around like a nodding dog at anything above 80mph. the standard screen was almost as bad..but the DB i fitted was like worlds apart hardly any buffeting.or wind noise even sat pretty much upright..i found it the same on the storm..but then thats just my opinion....

what make?

Post by JohnnyB »

So which make of DB screen is recommended? I'd be after a clear or black one.

Are they all same shape? I'm only 5'7 but the standard one gives my Arai a good blasting...

Can vouch for the MRA had one on my storm, now while the do the job I actually found that I like the standard screens best.
This applies the my old blackbird, Vtr an old CBR.

I have no plans to get DB for my GSXR
it may be clever, but its not big.

Only one thing to watch with a DB......... If you park in direct sun it can magnify and start melting your clocks!!!
It's happened to mine though I would still buy a DB again. Had them on a few bikes but this is the first time I've had a 'meltdown'
.... no more bike, divorce sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an Airblade one on too, it didn't really want to fit properly, mine had cracks after a couple of weeks, don't know if it was hit by something, bought Logans off him, Powerbronze, you may as well pay that bit extra for a quality one ............ ..................oh! and while I'm here it mystifies me why there are so many uneducated people on here......Silver Storms have the most BHP
