I have one of those yellow headlight protector/covers which came with the bike but wasn't attached. It needs the pads to fix it onto the glass. Now I tried a good double sided sticky pad material that I use for a lot of things and it sticks really well, but I hadn't allowed for the heat build-up and it slowly 'streaked' its way down the glass under the effects of gravity (while I was working on it in the garden I might add!).
I have tried on two occasions to contact this eBay seller to see if he does the attaching pads and would sell them as a seperate entity. Result? Nil correspondence back so :mad2 to him!!!

Any good ideas?
Cheers.
Headlight Protector/Covers. How to attach it successfully!

OK; thanks guys 'n' girls.
Must admit the piece that I assume is used to attach the cover in that bloke's advert looks like velcro, but I assumed it wouldn't stick too well due to that heat problem again.
Worth a try I suppose. The yellow one is actually the only legal colour that can be used and looks great with the best colour to have on a 'Storm. No prizes for what colour my bike is then!!!!

i have one of those protectors on my bike, and after changing the headlight was in the same situation of having a cover with the velcro on it and a headlight without.
went to the NEC for the bike show last year and talked to the guys on the pyramid stand, and they had a bag of spare velcro, so contact them or ask if you make it to the show.
