Benelli's are real cheap now, you can buy a brand new one (900) for just over £6000, not bad when you think they were £12500 when they came out. The ltd which was £20000 can be found for about £11000. I bought mine locally from a dealer, it had done about 800 miles had the extra carbon kit on it for about £5000. I nearly bought one a couple of years ago, glad I didnt cause of the cost thing but also there are a few reliability issues with them and to give yourself a chance you have to make sure the recalls and checks have been carried out.
You park it anywhere and it draws a crowd, it takes a bit of getting use to.
Back to my storm, the forks and back shock were rogered last year, its fine I took it to roger and he did the forks and shock in a morning. He set it all up and it handles quite nicely for a storm its got 020's on it for mileage but I might put stickier rubber on.

I couldnt resist..my storm before my off...now the mudguard is red the bellypan is black and the rear cowl is black n white...and all my own kackhanded work ...the main fairing is as i bought it...i think it looks the bizz in repsol livery,,,,,

Errrrm the "Patio" is safer than it looks.. no really.. trust me....its' ok.
looks a lot worse than it is..WAS even.. that pic was taken last year. just after i got the bike..and its positioned like that for the pic.[fencepost in my way].....when i park up i use the paddock stand with a cable tie around the front brake so unless there is an earthquake it aint going anywhere...but ill admit it dont half LOOK dodgy..
Oh.. some really smart looking bikes in this thread..The Revoloution paintjob is pretty unusual..as is the the storm owned by our Benelli loving friend[lucky git]...but Bens Daffy duck race fairing takes the Biscuit.. be original in your choice of livery..go for sky-blue-pink with yellow dots. or cover it in friesian cowskin...Hmmmm I wonder how many Dalmatians it would take to cover a storm?!..."Driver...to the petshop..and dont spare the horses."

Sorry Ben m8 I need all mine...but if you inflict some high impact trauma.with multiple fractures, on yourself you can have all you can eat.for the price of a prescription..and you get .the chronic addiction..nightmares..

hi, over the winter i was going to have all stone chips and a small dent on my firestorm repaired and painted.

but nowi am thinking of have a race style paint job. but which one?

i really like the v&m bikes but not sure if this would suit the firestorm. they did run honda bikes a few years ago.

the firestorm performace bikes raced in bsb a few years back is nice, yellow with silver fairing. what do you think?

and last there is the hydrex honaa scheme as in bsb.

what do you think would look the best?

why dont you go for the paint job you had when you raced the monstermob ducati it was done by bike paints for you , pretty sure you must still have some contacts out there
