They have been doing people with one of these mobile scamera vans from a bridge over a section of the M2 in Kent. Now someone has realised that the scamera van is actually parked up on double yellow lines when they do this so someone is going to court I believe to get their speeding fine thrown out. :)

i think you misunderstood me dude - i was joking! 6thou in 5th wont be 35mph, not unless you have a sprocket the size of a dinner plate!

as chris said...

hmmm, read the replies etc,but the one thing that I'm not sure about is the backfiring thing.......you sure its not "chatter" where the rear wheel is trying to turn the engine between power strokes with a bit of chain snatch?..........well I know what I'm on about. Just drop a gear...

Yeah i'm not really fussed about fuel, more worried about engine health. I've been having a lot of trouble with missfires so the bike is going into the shop asap because something must be wrong. I think it's possibly a bad tune but i'm not sure. Someone suggested my timing belt may be slipping as well.. But yeah higher revs definatly helps it to run better.

In the good old days when I had a storm I did Plymouth to Hull at 75 mph in top and got 51 mpg. So you can get good mpg.......boring though.
it may be clever, but its not big.

No timing belts on the Storm, only cam chains, so they wont be slipping :!:
