When I park up, I leave it in gear so it cant roll forward off the stand. You might also try softening the rear suspesion a notch as this will make it lean over more on the stand. Hard suspension makes it stand taller.

That looks subtle enough, but must double the surface contact area which has to be a good thing. Might have a go at mine at the w/e if it ain't too cold!!!
