Can anyone give me advise on the fitting of superbike bars to my storm.
What kits are on the market, anyone got anything lurking in the back of there garage that will do the job, general experiences any one's had with this sort of thing??
Cheers
Ian

Fitting is a doddle, the top yolk is from a company called ABM in germany. Its a billet adapter that fits over the existing yolk.
You do have to trim the fairing though as you will see from the photo's, and a screen. Providing your ok on a dremel and don't mind the fact your doing it then its a doddle.
I had braided hoses ala Delboy on mine so I am not sure if the standard hoses would still fit, I had to disconnect the clutch hose and reroute the flexi part of it, no big deal really.
Bars go lock to lock no problems, comfort is up, low to medium speed handling is the dogs, wheelies are even easier and I can still hit 130mph without any buffeting, but it does get a bit breasy when your really pushing it.
Cost wise, your looking at around £160 including a set of braced renthal bars
cheers

Have a look at Busters m8, they do the Lucas kit which is identical to my German ABM....because the crafty germans bought the lucas name to give them brand recognition in the UK.
