Post by marlbororman »

im going to be removing my tank in preparation for the new one going on with the fairings, and thought now would be a good time to change plugs etc,

What plugs can anyone recommend, or should i go for standard honda ones?

Also what oil is everyone running??

Oil filter should be standard i presume

Cheers in advance, Ian

I'm using semi-synthetic 10/40w motorcycle engine oil, I always use a genuine Honda oil filter, as for the spark plugs I'm using SplitFire at the moment, I don't know if they are the best but I fancied giving them a try :!:

Cheers,

Chris.

I put some NGK iridium ones in last year and they seemed to be an improvement.

I'd recomend the iridium ones as well. They last a long time and I've never had one fail.

I got some of those Iridium ones off e bay and I cant say for sure but i felt it had a bit more snap to it after fitting but then again this may have felt the same with any new plugs ? I also cleaned the air filter at the same time so who knows.
But i did find a bit of an improvement in performance
sh1t HAPPENS !!!
