I really hope that my man Colin might do it. I didn't think he'd be in with a chance, given the 800's are similar in size and corner speed to the old 250/500 two strokes, but he is doing bloody well.
He also has a personality, and if it isn't going to be Vale then let it be Colin.
I have followed him for years now and I just like his whole attitude to life.
Go Colin!
Shook hands with him once at the NEC. Really nice guy.

I dunno, I really like Edwrads too. And Vale of course.
My prediction for the championship table at the end is:
Valentino Rossi
Loris Capirossi
Colin Edwards
Dani Pedrosa
Toni Elias
John Hopkins
Nicky Hayden
Marco Melandri
Casey Stoner
Randy De Puniet
Chris Vermeulen
Carlos Checa
Olivier Jacque
Andrew Pitt
Kenny roberts Jr
Shinya Nakano
Alex Barros
Makoto Tamada
Alex Hoffman
Jeremy McWilliams
Sylvain Guintoli
Gonna be fun to check back on this post and see how far off I am in 6 months

I'd say Valle, Capirossi, Pedrosa.
Hope Valle wins it, but I'd be happy to see Ducati put it over the Japs.
Just don't seem to like Pedrosa (don't really know why) but I think he'll be in there, cus he weighs bugger all.
I think there should be a minimum weight, like in Karting. 14 stone seems reasonable rider weight to me.

She's my idea of beauty and thats what I ride.
For me it's got to be THE DOCTOR,i hope he takes his crown back off that hic town boy Hayden, there's just somethin' about him that really gets my back up!......oh yes he's american.
And then there's Mr Personality Danny Pedrosa who thinks people should be nicer when they're over taking him, doesn't he realise he's in with the big boys now!
I would like to see kawasaki put in a good run but i think they would need a really good rider to get any consistent results out of that beast.
Finally to my fellow ulster man Jeremy binit or winit mcwilliams,i don't think illmor will be around for more than a few seasons but i would like to be proved wrong,it's nice to see small teams taking it to the might of honda and yamaha.

once they get onto the tracks with shorter straights. rossi will carve them up he was braking much deeper into corners yesterday..and carried a bit more speed than stoner or pedro. and yes the duke is very impressive, but it wont take the other top teams long to catch up, tech wise....

Yeah, that Duke is a very fast piece of kit, bit judging by how much less speed down the straight Rossi had and how much faster he was through the twistier bits, I think they were running shorter gearing.
Was great to see Stoner actually finish right side up and he's definitely gonna be good this year.
Rossi who? pish! Noticed the little spanish poison dwarf was as charismatic and interesting as ever. I so wanted Hoppo to stuff him. Il Dottore is gonna be very strong this year.
