Passenger comfort?

I'm seriously considering buying this firestorm.
I'll have to travel to get it and test it, so I have question about passenger comfort.
Problem is that my girlfriend is most of time behind me, and we should be able to ride about 400 km in one day.
Is that bike for me, any experiences?

Anyone riding as a pillion on these bikes needs short legs and to be about 1,530mm tall max. They aren't great for two up riding IMHO.

But, for solo stuff

My wife has been on this bike once and says never again, footrests too high, small sloping seat and nothing to hang onto.

Problem was my last bike was a BMW K100LT so she was a little spoilt

Having said that, spoke to a Storm rider last year at a bike meeting with his wife/girlfriend on the back and she said it was okay as pillion.

Awesome solo

Just to bad, I'm 180 cm and girlfriend 169

Looks like I'll have to look for something else, maybe VFR... and I was looking forward to hanging on this forum

I was also looking into old BMW "K" series, friend has one, just hard to find here...

I pillion a LOT with different people all the time & the Storm is not comfortable for them.

And as far as hanging around on this forum, Alen, who could blame you? We're a great bunch... Anyone who doesn't own a Storm, though, is still welcome on the "Jokes" page

My missus was really worried about going two up on this bike.......my superfour was comfy see, and she didnt like the back of a blade at all........saying that .... she has since been on the back of the storm a few times now ..... even a 120 mile trip.....she loves it ......i wear a set of them love handles for her to hold on to and away we go....she likes the comfort and the fact that she has a good view from back there( and i aint talkin bout my ass

)

.....so in short.....pillion comfort isnt an issue here

Getting back to the original question

One of the best seating positions for carrying a pillion passenger is the Suzuki Hayabusa

The passenger is not perched up above the rider like they are with most sports or sports tourers

Actually, I love Hayabusa (as you might notice from my page in signature)

but it's out of the budget.

As opinions differs, I guess I'll have to try and see

Just one more question: is it possible to fit side cases?
