Single Sided Swing Arm

Hi All,
After having a VFR and moving on to a Firestorm, the one thing I really miss :( is the swing arm, and I know I've seen threads about the subject, but has anyone had experience in the conversion?, if so any info would be much appreiciated

Ditto to Alan's coments, also happy to help other VTR owners with the conversion.
You do need the right know-how or contacts though mate since it's no simple bolt on conversion.

This would be a winter project as I am not wastin valuable sunshine hours being off the road. My plan would be to get all that is needed over the spring/summer and start next November. I have a mate who is a engineer with lathes etc, he is also prepares bikes for racing, and races himself, so he would help me. Sounds like you both are the experts so I'll be in touch Thanks again

Realizing it is not a single-sided unit, you may also want to have a look at installing a SP-2 unit as one chap (Mr. Billet) did on the US Superhawk forum (http://www.superhawkforum.com). Quite interesting :)
