BSB ticket rip off!

Post by beckster »

Hi all,i was thinking of riding down to my first bsb round at mondello park in june,so i went online to see about a ticket and it was 57 euro(£37) which i thought was a bit steep.I then checked a few other bsb rounds at brands, oulten, cadwell and a few others and guess what.........they are only £22!

I'll be f##ked pink if i'm going to pay nearly double to watch bsb :!:

I could nearly go on a trackday for that money!..................in fact i think i will.

Captive audience innit...

No competition from other rounds.

I don't see why you'd bother though, much better to stand in a hedge and have a superbike fly past at 180mph, airborn and crossed up. Road races FTW.

Yeah the road races like the north west and ulster grand prix are good but you only get to see a few seconds of them as they blast by.

I would've liked to see it just the once but mondello isn't going to be twice as good for twice the money.

dont know the actual position with Mondello but as its not mainland and cost involved, is there a local club you could join as a marshal then get accepted to marshal at BSB round as well?
I know there are a few (not me) that will go to the majority of rounds but the rest of us usually stick to circuits around 100-150 mile radius of home.

Probably not chaz,i live up in northern ireland so i wouldn't think any of the clubs in the north would have anything to do with any events in the republic.

To be honest i wouldn't be that desperate to see it,and i'll always get a better view infront of the tv  :D
