MATLOCK BATH

Post by Jaglifter »

Had to visit Derby yesterday (in the car).

Decided to visit Matlock Bath. Big mistake!! Total gridlock. Took 1 1/2 hrs to get in and then not a square inch of car parking space to be had.

1000's of bikes tho'. 50% Harleys, 25% GSXRs. Saw one very nice black Firestorm.

Moral of the story is. If you visit on a Bank Hol. Get there early.

On the good side though, my wife has started to get mildly interested in riding pillion. Have to get a Goldwing........... as well as the SP :)

I agree Bondy. The Pan seems the more practical proposition.

Rincewind. Think I'd need a suit of armour and a lance to ride that - and put on another 5 stone.

It has to be though, the most comfortable pillion ride.
