hi karlos,

as a quick response if you are on about cam timing then an easy way to get in the right ballpark is to :

- remove rear cylinder cover
- set it to TDC on compression stroke - cam lobes point together like / \ and i think RT lines up on crank marker and markers on the cams line up with top of the cylinder head.
- turn the engine over by 1 and 1/4 turns ( use starter or spanner on crank )
- you should now have a FT mark lined up on the crank marker
- you should have front cylinder cam lobes pointing away from each other, like \ /

if you search the posts you will see other posts on setting the timing, i think one had pictures

cheers

Karlos,
I think I'm right in saying the RT mark is sat above the actual mark like
this:-
R
T

It's got to be there :!:

Here's how I time my bike for CCT changing:-
