Why is it.....

Post by Zakalwe »

...that 3 weeks after fitting a luverly new Michelin 2CT, that you get a fooking dirty great nail in the tyre....right on the edge where it cant be plugged? :mad2 I was chuffed that I had scrubbed it in right to both edges as well!

Now going to be £120 lighter PLUS no bike over the weekend (tyre on order). Image

Know the feeling. Just got EVERYTHING I wanted done over a six month period with new tyre on rear and taper bearings + fork oil changed only the day before for it to be written off less than twenty four hours later. Thank your lucky stars it's just a rear tyre (still a bu**er though eh?)

Weeell...if there is a positive to all this, it is the fact that SWMBO cannot Bitch & Moan (TM) about me being out on the bike all weekend......

...The garden shed is now painted, lawns all cut and bordered, damn tree in the front garden pruned, pot plants all re-potted, barbecue cooked, weeds weeded, cars washed, patio furniture all nicely oiled ready for summer, patio heater cleaned & repainted....

....Goddam it...I am waiting to go back to work for a fricking break!
