Damm Screws

Post by 8ball »

I was out having a lovely ride on my new baby over the weekend and love and behold I have a massive screw in my new rear tyre. (Only 50 miles on it)

So I call the RAC and they come and bung it for me so I can get home. I take a trip to Pro Tyre in Bristol the next day and they tell me as RAC have already put a bung in it the tool they use means I have to buy a new tyre. . So a nice bill of £115 for a new tyre.

Then to top that as I change my Speedo Dial so it reads in MPH I find 2 bulbs gone so more hassle to take it all apart and put the new ones back in lol.

She is worth it though.

Has anyone had experience with the bung thing from RAC, could you get your tyre repaired or did you have to buy a new tyre.

Cheers peeps
