Thermostat Pipe

Post by beesfan »

Could somebody on here please help, i'm putting my firestorm together and need to know which pipe comes out of the rear of the thermostat? It's above the temp sensor wire and next to the ground. Is it just a breather because whenever i see an image of the thermostat in the workshop manual it doesn't have anything connected to it.

There is an image at the following link....

Excuse the quality of the image......

Firstly, may I say that because 25 people have read this is doesn't mean that they're 'not ar$ed' to leave a reply! They might:- a) just not understand what the h*ll you're on about or, b) be unable to see in your poor picture the problem!!!

Anyway, see a pic of my thermostat in the lower section. It was all std and the top pipe is just left blank it appears. There's nothing attached to it. The pic is actually not directly taken of the stat housing but it happened to fit the bill in regard to your question.

A quiet word. When asking for help don't shout your mouth off or you'll get nowt but peoples backs up and have some patience OK?
