I've ran both sets, Avons and Bridgestones on mine.
I've even had a Bridgestone front and an Azaro rear. (Too cheep to change them as a pair) and it was fine. Both tyres work well on the Storm but the Bridgestone front was always better than the Azaro when pushing really hard. I cant fault either rear so I don't think you'll be upset with your choice. Hope it cures your shake.

And the answer is - I'm a Bridgestone whore.
There's not a lot I can add to that really

On second thoughts, when the front wheel is out get the tyre fitters to check the balance before fitting the new tyre :!: at least that way you'll know if it was out of balance or not :!:

Well, I got it back yesterday tea-time. They are sure the bike sounds normal, so it just had a service and new boots.

£377 for service and tyres.

They could have washed it for me...

And the wobble on deceleration?
Any better, worse, the same?

Haven't been able to test it - traffic was rush hour when I rode home and it's been raining all day here (I'm fair-weather only).

The mechanic claims it has gone though...

Just got back from a 2hr ride round North Yorkshire and I can confirm the wobble is no more. The Bridgestones are amazing, the bike turns in faster and is more stable when right over. Chuffed to bits with them. :D

I'm pleased too hear that the problem has gone :!: although it's a shame that we'll now never know if it was just a wheel balance that was needed or not :!:

I'm inclined to blame the balancing - isn't 55mph the magic number as far as wheel balancing is concerned (ie it all kicks off at this speed)?

Round about that speed yes.
It can be in the forties on some bikes. A lot depends on wheel size, tyre type and how far the balance is out.
Glad yours is sorted though.
I've a new rear being fitted this afternoon.
Metz M1 190/50 on the SP and they stick like glue wet or dry.
If anyones tried them on the Storm yet I'd be interested to hear their opinion.
