Hey up all, does anyone know how to turn of the beebing noise that comes on when the indicators are left on..

someone must have fitted a buzzer to yours, it's not standard for this to happen, some kind of indicator warning type thingy, find it and unwire it if you don't want it would be my guess.

Dont leave your indicators on

I'd rather have an annoying noise than some dozey cager assume you're turning left and plow straight into you.

It is a good device but realy gets on your nerves when you are are at rounderbout waiting to pull out, as it just gets louder and louder.. lol

Drives me mad, but as you say it could save my life so will leave it on

when i had a new xs650 in the eighties ,it had self cancelling indicators..i wonder what happened to that idea?

I have fitted one of these.

Alterable tone to suit rider.
Various tone levels with ramp-up facility to start quieter and get louder.
Various amount of flashes in silent mode before it activates.
Touch of brake resets the countdown so a hand on the brake at traffic lights, say turning left and all is quiet.
I have mine set with the initial bleep to show it has turned on whichever way I've indicated. You don't need to look to check that they are working. Then I go for maximum double beep volume after ten flashes.
Not cheap but a great device. I can get a discount too so if anyone is interested let me know!!!

EEK 40 QUID!!. I wired in a trailer warning buzzer on a couple of bikes. 6 quid from any trailer place. 4 wires/10 mins and its done

Two pound fifty buzzer from Maplins is the same, but sophisticated they ain't.
Pays yer money etc.
My bike's worth it though ha ha
