Probably easier to weld a brace onto the existing one I would have thought.

now i was considering that, but looking at the two i think it would be a lot of work to brace it in exactly the same way as the blade one.

i mean, it wont be hard to chop bits off and re weld them. ive got a spare storm one and can get hold of a cheap blade jobbie

i think they missed the point of v twins when they fgave it a weedy swinger

ive ridden a 98 blade and i have a 97 storm and i must say the blade is so wooly with torque but its got power and i wouldnt say would ever need the hefty swingarm.

im just hoping a 98 blade one will fit

if no one knows whats involved, theres only one way to find out .....

Well, pretty much anything will fit.

A great place to ask about modding is the Superhawk forum. Some of those USA guys do some crazy mods.

Greg (of the top banana Gregs Litre Bikes VTR page - http://home.nycap.rr.com/ghlbo/index.html ) is currently fitting a 900RR one.

PM him on Superhawk here: http://www.superhawkforum.com/forums/member.php?u=153

the sp swinger will fit but will have to make some new linkages/etc.

you can cut the brace off the blade then weld onto the storm it will brace over the top or you could brace it underneath.
