problem with misfire.

Post by VTRbob »

at first it seemed like wheel out of balance,at 110 it shakes itself to bits,so new tyre & balance ect, then i found if i nail thottle in 4th 5th & 6th it misfires, dont do it in lower gears, when it misses it shakes like it does at 110. just wondered if anyone had this? ill start looking for kinked fuel lines & new plugs before i start changing coils & carbs. any ideas :?: :D
cheers.

done all that m8,head & wheel bearings,i think its with allways having 4 pot bikes that just lack power when missing,it took a while to realize that when twin misfires it shakes like a bastid 8O . just had carbs of & to bits, not a speck in jets or float bowls :? put back together & fired up no probs, ill give it a run tomorrow & go from there, plugs next then coils
