Fitting an undertray

well trying to find a tailtidy, but i'll be damned if i'm paying thro the nose for one

so it looks like i'm going into the garage armed with a drill, hammer and a piece of metal :D

that was my concearn as well, no where for the plate, its a racing undertray i think, and looking at the tail tidies in shops and bike shows i didn't really see anything suitable.

on another note if you replace your tail light with an LED unit or the composite LED bulb things, or a clear lens, how do you light the number plate, the led's are now red for the tail end/ clear light lens, do you need to get an additional light, like motrax seem to make now, its a wee white led unit that is wired into the lighting circuit.

yea seen those, but don't think a clear LED light would suit a red bike so i'm sticking with the normal rear light

and as i'm feeling tight, i;m going to make my own tailtidy

Cool Mike, let us know how you get on please chap, I have been looking, seen the ones on Fleabay but didnt really like the look of them, how much did you pay for yours chap?

They're nice those Powerbronze ones.

I especially like the little bag of bodywork screws included and indicator fittings etc. Those extras that make a good product a great one.

You'll have to cut down the original undertray to fit it, but I find if you hack it off with a dremmel or something just behind the battery box and zip tie it to the subframe cross beam there, you get the added advantage of actually having underseat storage now.
