Why would you want to mess up the handling fitting a 190? It'll probably fit, just can't understand why....

If you do a search on here you'll find that this has been discussed to death and the verdict is that it Buggers up the handling and generally does'nt suit the bike. Some one will jump in at some point and explain the techy details as too why etc but not a recommended mod.

And as Barry says it will fit no probs. Sorry Simon and welcome to the site :D

The wider section of a 190 effectively slows the steering. The bike won't "tip" into a corner as easily as with a 180 section.
In fact if you look at a lot of the proddy racers they'll dump the standard 190 tyre, fitted to a lot of bikes, in favour of a 180 to sharpen up the handling and make the bike a bit more flicky

Considering bikes that run 190's (like the SP1) will very often switch to a 180 because they're better, I wouldn't go the other way.
