Rider support

Post by Drac »

heard a few of you (unlucky to have had a spill) mentioning Rider Support. not that i plan to have an off or anything but they sound the dogs danglies.

I'm currently insured with Devitt, do rider support work in turn with your own insurance company or are they an insurance company themselves?

their web site is a holding page at present so no real info about em.

how do they work?

Rider support will work in conjunction with your insurance company........In the case of an accident you just let your insurance co know there has been an incident and that you are using rider support as your legal team(so they dont initiate their own team)

Then u just fill in the RSS forms, they advise you on the best course of action and you just sit back and wait.......if it goes against u then RSS will take their money from your legal exspenses cover if it goes against the 3rd party it comes out of their cover.

I am currently using them to sort out a claim i have pending and am pleased with the service so far.

Also if they are sure you have a strong enough claim they will sort out a replacement vehicle for you, even if your ins co doesnt provide a courtesy vehicly.( chargable to the 3rd parties ins co of course).

I hope this helps with your Q ..... its also worth mentioning that you can call them and register before you have an accident. VeetyR
