A guy I've spoke to in the US deals in these.
I don't see how it's worth it actually.
Unless you're fitting a full exhaust system, air box, fuel jetting and full race set up, its not gonna make a noticeable difference.
Still, awfully nice bling and definitely good for a few more ponies.
If you have the splash cash spare, why not?

I picked up a set for a good price on eBay and my bike is currently off at my dealer having them installed (along with ported and decked heads). I too had been trying to find someone who tried them and only came up with one chap (on the Micapeak registry) from Western Canada who had them and liked them. I contacted Yoshimura USA and had them send me a dyno sheet to see the results. It showed a decent increase from the mid-range on up. I then called the Yosh USA office and told them I was looking more at mid-range improvement and the tech recommended I advance the intake cam by 2-3 degrees in order to move the power down the rpm range a bit (lobe centre at 106 deg instaed of the called for 108). I will be getting the bike back in the coming days but as the cams will be part of the package I won't be able to comment on their effect alone. The general consensus from what I've read is that cams alone don't do too much but help quite a bit when combined with other mods (upping the compression ratio, gas flowed heads, full exhaust). Hope this helps.
hmmm....doesnt sound like i will be going ahead then.....I have the cash to buy the cams from TTS...£427.....and I know someone who can fit them but if its not going to be a noticable difference without making other mods i think i would rather spend the money on suspension set up as i think this would benefit me and the bike more than 5-10 ponies i prob aint gonna use anyways.
Thx for the info tho guys.....helped me make my decision anyway.
now wheres rogers number?

is that getting the cams fitted or just for buying them....here's the guy on ebay in japan i've bought a few bits off, postage takes about 4 days and never had a problem....and the cams are $625...or £312.

but as you say getting the suspension sorted would be a better benefit to you and the bike...lol.
