It's just recovered...

I'd look out for a proper custom seat like a Sargent one.

They do crop up on ebay occasionally, usually in the USA

veetyr,
there is one of those sargent seats : kitch is on about on ebay at the mo, but you will have to be quick as ie ends in 19 hrs ..
the ebay no is:260155368965. but it has the yellow on it which would be way to fast

jokeing aside though the link you have put up regarding the other seat.
i got in contact with him and hes a very nice guy who lives in scotland .
i sent my seat up to him and he has recovered it in black basket weave with yellow piping all around, plus put extra padding in the front and pillion seats.he only got it last friday ,and has sent it back to me already ,so as soon as it comes i will post a pic of it in the photo gallery for you to have a look at.
as for price he did it all inc return postage for £50 which i thought was cheap??
im sure if it looks good ,and enough people want theres doing ,we might get some club discount.

regards
pat.

Patty,

Looks smart and much more expensive than the £50 it cost you
Just two questions,

Does the rear seat cowl still fit with the extra padding?
&
How grippy is the new material? I dont like especially grippy seats (particularly as I'm moving about side to side) and actually am really happy in waterproofs in the rain for this reason

ben,
i dont know weather my cowl will fit with the pillion extra padding,
but as my cowl dosent quite sit right anyway im just going to leave it off ,and show of the piping instead,

as for grippy ,i dont know yet ,as im on lates this week ,ive got to get ready for work now
so i will try it in the morning.
i know jimmy(thats the guys name)
does plain black aswell as the basket weave,so that might be a better option for you ??if you wanted your one done

cheers
