MOT

Post by Stratman »

MOT Day today - and passed no problem, except for the advisory that the rear brake disc is starting to warp. I knew this, this is the second replacement EBC that M&P have sent me. I have rung them and told them I will be getting a Honda one then they can collect the EBC one and give me a refund, to which they have agreed.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Good news about the mot Paul :!: But not so good about the rear disc, although at least M&P are refunding you, which is something :!:

   So that will be Edam Brie Cheddar (EBC) :!:

On the serious side Paul, I don't suppose you have a sticky piston or two in the rear brake caliper, and thats causing the disc to over heat :?: You've probably already checked that, but just incase you haven't it might be worth looking at. I'd also check it right-away after you get back from a decent blat :!: as well as when the caliper is stone cold :!: Get the rear up on your paddock stand and see how free the rear wheel turns
