Post by VeetyR »

Hey guys, i am putting the original exhausts back on my Storm but dont have them at hand at the moment.....Now the right hand clamp has a siezed bolt in it and needs replacing....Honda have Quoted me over £20 for a replacement so i am going to get some aftermarket steel ones from fleabay.

My Q to you is what size clamp do i need??

51mm - 55 mm? 55mm - 59mm? 63mm - 68mm?

As i said i would look myself but i dont have the cans to hand to measure them.

You want 51-55.

Unless, that is, its for the rear header into the downpipe, which is a special clamp and there is also a fibre gasket as well, which might explain the £20, although looking on David Silver the ordinary ones are £12 plus the bolt = £12.64 plus VAT = £14.85, which is a hell of a lot for an exhaust clamp
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
