Hi Curly

Cadwell is superb, technical and relatively dangerous in one or two places. Maybe not the circuit to loose your track-day cherry on. Take your time learning it if you do go there. There are a few cheap days there in October for £65.00. I will probably book one of them up at the beginning of October.

Here are some more photos taken at Brands. I had 41 shots taken in all.

Hi Chris

I replaced the rubber seals in the throttle bodies of the Guzzi fuel injection, so the bike runs so much better. Problem is it wants to stall at every junction, so I have taken it to a local specialist engine tuner to sort it out. He thinks its running too rich and the throttle bodies are out of balance. He will be setting the injection and throttle position sensor up on his dyno, so hopefully all will be well, at a small cost. The Guzzi is a pleasure to ride around the twistys, and although its not particularly fast by current standards, its at least as grunty as a Firestorm, has superior brakes and handling, and is better able to cope with bumps. The top quality WP suspension front and rear, and top quality Brembo brakes see to that. It is an aquired taste, particularly the slow gearbox, but if I can get it running like the makers designed, it will be great sharing the garage with the two Triumphs and 'track' Firestorm.

Hi Rob,

I hope your local specialist engine tuner can get it sorted out, as stalling at junctions like that can become annoying :!: Engine torque, handling and brakes all sound very good. The WP suspension front and rear are bound to be better than the standard Firestorm's, and the Brembo brakes speak for themselves 8)
