Concours or a used patina?

Post by Dadbob »

Although a concours bike looks 'nice', I prefer a little patina to a machine, to show it's used. I use mine all year round - yes I know, shame on me - plus I don't have time to sit and polish every nook and cranny. And I'd much rather be riding!

What does anyone else think?

I would agree.....Ride and Enjoy

However, seeing as mine is now off the road for repairs, it is allowing me to clean those parts you cannot normally reach :(

How does the 17" compare with the 'Storm std issue :?: Quicker steering? Twitchy?

17" is standard matey. straight swap.

the difference is that it has i would say slightly heavier steering and when i mean slight i mean the difference in holding a pack of quavers compared to normal crisps - you know normal crisps are heavier but cant feel it

the rear is a 900rrw wheel which is also a direct swap

im lazy, i wanted easy as possible

my swingarm project isnt quite as straight forward though
