Its all over!!!!
Its all over!!!!
For Rossi anyway
wtf did he pull back in for????????????????????? but well done to Stoner he does deserve the championship dominating 8 or 9 races this year unlike Nicky last year.
I set my alarm for 5.40am to see it live
I also think Stoner deserved it. I know people are saying 'oh it was the bike' just the same as they use to say about Rossi when he was starting out in GP's
But you only have to look where their team mates finished in the championship to see that is not the case
Chris.

Stoner has made that Duke do what no-one else could this year.
I know earlier on I was moaning about it was only the extra speed the Duke had but as the seasons progressed Stoner has proved himself time and time again. Hats off to him I say. Well done lad.

Yep he's rode a championship season. He does seem to have benefitted from the tyre rule changings (by pure coincidence rather than anything intentional) and the ducati squad have done a superb job supporting him all year but even so he's been super-consistent and kept his cool when things got a bit rough. Hats off to him, he deserves it.
That said, like-for-like Rossi is still a superior rider. The fact he's beat Stoner on a few occasions even when the yam has been struggling (and in most cases Stoner has been unable to keep with him once passed) all speaks volumes.
I noticed stoner was actually a few kmh down on the hondas at motegi, so I think the top speed down the straight that everyone rattled on about is not the case so much any more...
