dont know if its a fellow club member???
what do you lot think??...........i am still thinking yes or no
how did he get his tank to look like that anyway???
must have been expensive???

i bet he works for autosolve :lol: :lol:
that is alot of chrome to clean, if he dont work for them he must spend a bloody fortune on chrome cleaner.

i quite like it ...but £29,000 is a lot of money ,and i bet he can only bring it out when the sun is belting down.
no winter rideing for that bike,,,i bet!

Can you not clearcoat chrome, so it's just like any other finish. Quick polish with the wax and it's as good as new + no rust ever.

That's what I'd want to do anyway.

I tried that but unless the clear coat is applied by an absolute professional you get moisture bubbles under the coat and on top of the chrome. The metal also still tarnishes.

there is this stuff now called chromex looks like chrome but its like a powder coat very good and you only have to wipe it over

personally think it looks unfinished..like hes put a spare tank on..each to his own
