Anyone had water get into the VTR engine through the airbox?

Well I had a mate that owened a 2 stroke (can't remember what) that at the lights it would often miss fire and with out him relising it woud fire again in reverse direction he would not notice this till taking of with 5 reverse gears and no forward rears 8O . the bike would often kick start in reverse direction aswell :?

As w@zza said the missfire through the carbs is somthing I've found anoying it is loud (kinda metalic) and does jolt the bike. Having nealey always had twins I'm used to it.

Yeah I used to have a Bultaco trial bike that used to run backwards sometimes, Good thing is 4 stroke's wont run backwards unless its a diesel :!:
