A week after I bought my storm I was speaking to a certain mate of mine who is very much into his stunting, helps out at a wheelie school and rides road-(semi-)legal supermotos (mostly on one wheel) - the first thing he said was "watch those long wheelies, or you'll blow the front pot!"
Apparently he had a nasty experience with an SV-650, where the front pot was starved of oil during its first long wheelie, ruining the motor. He seemed to think the VTR would suffer the same fate.
Now this doesn't really bother me, as my wheelying skills extend to hoiking it on the throttle and then plonking it immediately back down in utter terror. However, how do you stunter types get on? Does the motor survive a long balance-point wheelie OK? Other than losing oil into the airbox, are there any other problems to watch out for?
