Digital Gear Indicator

Post by Wildfire »

I may be able to get a cheapish digital gear indicator that has come of a CBR.
Do any 'sparky' types know if it would be easy to fit into the VTR loom or am I better shelling out for a new model specific one??

I don't know about fitting one coming off another bike, I bought my Accumen one for less that 50 quid new from the internet and it took all of about an hour to fit, mainly thanks to the incredibly long loom up to the clocks so you can remove the clocks and pull the loom up about 10 inches to make all your connections. My advice would be to buy a new one.

Wildfire'

Why don't you go onto the Acumen site and see if the wiring charts are the same for both models :!:

I could probably find the wiring diagram from mine if you get stuck. Its in a safe place though! Well worth doing mind you. Must fit one on the TDM too
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
