They look good to me Mike 8) 8) 8)

I prefer that look to the other one, that you posted recently with the end pipes exiting through the tail fairing plastic :!:

How is the battery going to sit with them in that position :?:

I think you're gonna need to raise it a lot for wheel clearance.

Might look all wierd and fugly once they're high enough.

There's a guy on the US Superhawk site did a proper underseat single can conversion in a similar position, might be worth seeing if you can mail him to see any problems he had.

Looks spot on, hope thay sit there without any unforeseen glitches, heat, Vibes and clearance.

Found a youtube vid of the single underseat one.

Oh yeah, and it has a turbo... 8O 262 BHP

(especially funny at 1:45 ish when he nearly wheelspins it off the dyno)

Looks pretty good mate.

Yep, I LIKE IT!

Might have to copy you after all! Especially if what we discussed about the sticky out ones is right - Total re-work of subframe!

Although I still like the idea of single can under seat with tail light shaped end!

You sure 3.5" will be enough to get the travel?

Any idea how that will affect the running? ie back pressures etc.

Can't remember, is it jetted? K&N'd?

Perhaps when it's done, a run on a dyno in shop will point out a jet that may take care of any 'shortened can' and re-worked pipes issues.
