So what are Firestorms like for stunting, then?
While doing a search to get some info on recommended sprockets for the 'storm, I found a few references to stunting and general anti-social and unpleasant behaviour of the one-wheeled variety.
A week after I bought my storm I was speaking to a certain mate of mine who is very much into his stunting, helps out at a wheelie school and rides road-(semi-)legal supermotos (mostly on one wheel) - the first thing he said was "watch those long wheelies, or you'll blow the front pot!"
Apparently he had a nasty experience with an SV-650, where the front pot was starved of oil during its first long wheelie, ruining the motor. He seemed to think the VTR would suffer the same fate.
Now this doesn't really bother me, as my wheelying skills extend to hoiking it on the throttle and then plonking it immediately back down in utter terror. However, how do you stunter types get on? Does the motor survive a long balance-point wheelie OK? Other than losing oil into the airbox, are there any other problems to watch out for?

Yay! Somebody of my ilk!
It depends what sort of stunts your wanting to learn. If your using it as a full blow modded stuntbike then it will be more hassle than its worth, go and buy yourself a cbr or gsxr!
However for general mucking around on the road its fun! (i can wheelie thru most gears and do stand up wheelies in 2nd/3rd) and having practiced over the last year, here is what i found:
Bad Points
1) Your fork seals will pop, but this happens to almost all bikes
2) Heavy landings will mean the bottom yokes ground out on the top of the mudguard scroring it!
3) Beware your front radiators as they can also bend due to heavy landings
4) Oil will piss into your airbox
5) Suspension isnt that kind on the rear
Good Points
1) Being a grunty v-twin you can pop the front up with ease off the power.
2) Going 1down on the front and 2up on the rear sprockets make a large difference to wheelie ability!
3) Due to the large amount of torque you rarely have to use the back break to bring it down, simply let go of the throttle!
4) Once up on the rear its really quite stable (even more so with rear tyres psi adjusted to suit)
5) Ive heard theres several mods you can do to the suspension to imrpove how she sits on the rear but have not tried them myself!
VTRstunter or Monoman are the people to talk to on here, they are all knowing!

(i agree, never heard anything about the front pot either, i assume the SV has some mad gravity fed system or something?)
