Spark plugs (IRIDIUM)

The best price I've found for Iridium spark plugs for the Firestorm is from here:-

Tell you what Chris, the biggest difference i noticed after fitting these (also got them on ebay) was that during the winter months, rather than requiring 2 or 3 turns to start in the cold mornings it would literally start first time every time!

I put iridium plugs in my old Storm & bought some for my newie recently, but before I got them changed (no, of course I can't do it myself...) I was told they're standard in the latest model.

That was one of the reasons I got them Toby, as I've heard good results from people on here. Interesting though about the difference in the winter, not that my bike gets that much use then

I was trying a set of Split-Fire plugs, but after only about 5,000mls were starting to show signs of being not so good

I didn't know they were standard in the latest model VTRgirl

ngk only list the iridium plugs now,the plugs that was fittedfrom the factory are no longer available and not even listed

Anyone tried Nippon Denso's IX27B? They've got a 0.4mm iridium electrode as opposed to NGK DPR9EIX-9's which are 0.6mm; so should - in theory - be better than the NGK?

Nice one sirch, that's well timely as I've been searching for some today.

Some places are charging over a tenner + VAT + postage for one plug!
