exhaust cracked

found a crack in the downpipes on the exhaust, wot issues will this cause in the running of the bike with it only being a twin. ive had problems with the bike cutting out when you rev it for about 30 seconds, thought it was knackered battery but that hasnt sorted it, could it be dragging air in through the cracked pipe and make it cut out. any help appreciated thnx. Ian is it cracked on the weld?? btw it wont cause the bike to cut out.

no dont think its cracked on the weld, i can get it rpaired at work no probs it was just the problem of whether it would cause the cutting out. i think im going to have to strip her down and check for a bared wire or bad earth somewhere.
