so they are universal ?
do they all have the same connections on the wires ?
do all aftermarket indicators bolt to the bike the same way as the standard indicators do ?

most of them do, just a bolt and a locknut to hold it in place. Some bikes may require a hole drilling to mount them, i think mine has been mounted this way to the side of the undertray. VeetyR

Remove indicators, remove long stalk from indicators, screw the now dumpy indicator back on. You'll need a repair washer as the hole the old bolt went through is much wider than any screw you'll find.

ps, remove cdi as well from under the seat. It makes removing and refitting the indicator wires so much easier.

I've just fitted clear led light like Firestorm mike, powerbronze £75.00 and it has built in indicators and plate light! took it to my garage where MOT's done and he said no prob for test even looked in VOSA book which stated but don't quote bike must have indicators and be on a horizontal plane.

I know some garages said when I was looking at these that there is also a minimum distance they must be apart, but my garage didn't mention this when he was reading out the details
