Hi
I'm looking to streetfighter my bike after I trashed the front end and fairings on a Rt hander about 6 weeks ago.
I sort of know what I need to do - the only bit I'm not sure about is the clocks. I'm looking to put twin lights and chrome clocks on (I really like the Speed Triple look) so somthing along those lines. I also thinking of using blade forks as I've been told they handle better. I have some Qs:
1) Can I use any clocks from any bike
2) How do I calibrate/connect them
3) Does anyone know any sources for good looking nosecone/clock combinations
Any other advice would be greatfully apprieciated.
Thanks

I've always thought the Vapor clocks are very smart and extremely good value

I've got an inferiority complex
But its not a very good one!

in theory yes you can ,on cable speedos all jap bike run the same ratio, but i believe on electronic speedos you have to use honda clocks as the impulse ratio is different, the rev counter should not vary so as long as you get the clocks off a twin, idealy a v twin you should be ok but check the wiring as some may take a feed from the ecu and not the coil so the imput would be different
