Which part of Bristol are you in, Pete? I live in Radstock, just south of Bath - I sometimes hang out in the St. Annes area of Bristol where some of my posse live, or sometimes pop into Tim Blakemore Racing for a cuppa and a natter, but I can usually be found lurking among the gothic shadows of Bath, getting shouted at by motorists and residents alike.

Always kind of lonely down this way, not a great many biking buddies or places to go.
Hi Mad Ax
I'm on the North side of town out Yate. I used to work down St.Annes so I know it quite well and as for Tim, we went to the same school many moons ago so I sorta know him too.
Radstock has some great lanes around it to play in. I don't go off that way often but I always enjoy it when I do.
We have a few other Stormers around Swindon & Glousecester we'll have to have a little South West ride out some time and all get together.

Welcome matey :)
oi.. non of those types should get thru at all now !
myself and Cupa have it sorted between us !
You kept all the porn and drugs for yourself? That's just mean - typical mods, taking all the best perks for themselves :(

Sounds good. There are some awesome roads around this way, sadly most of them are covered in potholes and tractor mud but once you get used to that they're fantastic.

Keep me informed of any planned meets and I'll do my best to get along :)

BTW, the urge to modify intensified this morning, after a slow run into work with a half-filled rucksack left both wrists feeling like I'd just had a marathon two-handed session on all that porn that Kaz and Cuppa are keeping for themselves :( Potential "Before and After" pics may be arriving in the next few weeks :?

I live in Pembrokeshire now but spent most of the first 21 yrs of my life living in Radstock. My mummy still lives there. The roads up on the mendips are good fun.
20 odd years ago we used to have a little race track that some mates of mine used to race around on. We used to start at the green ore x roads and head over to the road with Slab house pub on but turn towards Emborough pond the down through Ston Easton back on yourself through Chewton mendip with a flying finish over the Green ore x roads.
I imagine these days there are cameras and 30 limits, then there was nothing. From what I can remember it used to be about 12 miles round.

All I know is that the Green Ore cross-roads is a major accident blackspot and after a stern talking-to from my boss of the time, I always take it steady over there these days... Go past that way in the car often tho, I often go walking around Priddy / Stockhill way.
