I tried having my bars higher, but I found it affected the handling. I think it must have been down to having less weight over the front end. It probably varies from rider to rider, body weight, how your suspenders are set up and if you're running the standard forks or something different. But for me, it just didn't go around corners as well as it does with the standard clip-on handlebar set-up. PS. Any of you guys with the flat bar conversion noticed the bike not handling so well as it did with the standard bars
