Not sure if this is in the right place but ....
I have bought a hugger off fleabay and when i have tried to fit it there is a gap at the front end close to the front sprocket all the other holes line up and otherwise it fits correctly has any one got any ideas how to rectify the gap or have i bought one that should fit a later model
Thanks
Hugger
The gap is still there, just under the chainguard. And the chainguard moves with the swingarm too as thats what its attached to.VTRbob wrote:mine has a gap between hugger & sprocket cover, cos hugger moves with swing arm & needs a gap
I'd be refitting the chainguard to yours if it were me Bob... I don't fancy having my left leg turned into mince on a stick. Or is yours like the pic below? (which is a Skidmarx one I believe)
I just fitted a Pyramid one the other day and it says in the instructions the chainguard is meant to go back on.

^^^ Pyramid one, the "chainguard" bit is a lot shorter and you'd have a 3 inch or so gap without refitting the original proper guard back on.
